Made with Rooster Almerino (aran) wool on 4mm and 5mm circular needles. I can no longer source the yarn used in this design, but any equivalent aran weight yarn in keeping with the gauge will work fine.<\/p>\n<p>To make all four hats, you will need:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 x 50g balls Rooster Almerino Aran in Lilac Sky or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovecrafts.com\/en-gb\/search?q=aran+yarns&amp;utm_medium=affiliate&amp;a_aid=7d8ae305\">equivalent aran weight yarn<\/a> &#8211; see gauge below<\/li>\n<li>2 x 50g balls Rooster Almerino Aran in Sugared Almond<\/li>\n<li>2 x 50g balls Rooster Almerino Aran in Smoothie<\/li>\n<li>2 x 50g balls Rooster Almerino Aran in Custard<\/li>\n<li>4mm (for the rib) and 5mm<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lovecrafts.com\/en-gb\/p\/knitpro-symfonie-circular-needles-80cm?utm_medium=affiliate&amp;a_aid=7d8ae305\"> circular knitting needles<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Stitch marker tapestry needle for sewing in ends.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(To make just one hat, you will need around half a ball of each colour)<\/p>\n<p>Gauge: 20 stitches and 26 rows per 10cm<\/p>\n<p>To fit: head size 54 \u2013 58cm (give or take \u2013 nice stretchy rib)<br \/>\nGlossary<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Four fair-isle hats, each slightly different in style, colour, pattern and technique.
