{"id":2325,"date":"2021-01-27T17:49:22","date_gmt":"2021-01-27T17:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aliceinknittingland.wordpress.com\/?p=2325"},"modified":"2021-01-27T17:49:22","modified_gmt":"2021-01-27T17:49:22","slug":"socks-5-and-6-of-the-52-socks-of-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aliceinknittingland.co.uk\/?p=2325","title":{"rendered":"Socks 5 and 6 of the 52 socks of 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;m quite excited about these, for a number of reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aliceinknittingland.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/01\/2021-01-27-16-24-20.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2345\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me list them for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>They are super cosy and snuggly.<\/li><li>They are bright and cheerful.<\/li><li>They are, technically, worsted weight and therefore not quite as bulky as my other boot socks<\/li><li>THEY ARE MACHINE WASHABLE<\/li><li>They knit up really speedily.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/aliceinknittingland.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/01\/img_20210127_135124_440.jpg?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2346\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They&#8217;re knitted in Novita 7 Veljesta Raita (self-striping) and Lappi (solid colour) on 4mm needles and one ball of self-striping, knitted as I did, does EXACTLY one pair.
